S is for Sweet...and Skylar!

Oh, sweet baby Skylar. She was such a precious little newborn and I absolutely LOVED being able to capture these sweet moments. About 5 minutes into the shoot she even smiled for me (picture 2). Priceless!! I first photographed her in her Mommy's belly a few months ago and was thrilled to get to meet her outside the womb. What a sweetheart! :)

I would also like to give a shout out to the extremely talented and creative Courtney who made the pink & blue headband and diaper cover, as well as the pink earflap beanie seen. you can visit her etsy.com store to pick up some adorable items. Tell her Jeni sent you!

"A Lakeside Celebration..."

I traveled WAY down south to Immokalee for this waterfront wedding. I was a little surprised to see how youthful my bride & groom were (since I hadn't met them before showing up to photograph the wedding). However, once I spent some time with them, it was obvious that the love they had for each other was apparent, real & mature. Congrats to Amy & Spencer!

World's Newest Steeler's Fan!

Sweet Baby Levi! His Dad has already dubbed him as the World's Newest Steeler's Fan, so he doesn't stand a chance! (Go Bucs!) :) hehe Baby Levi had very sensitive eyes so did not want to open his eyes for photos. However, his pictures are ADORABLE and I will have many more opportunities to photograph him as he grows up! Congrats Marcus & Savannah...hes a keeper! xoxo

Her·pe·to·pho·bia, noun: Fear of Lizards

The title of this post is a joke because the groom to be has a fear of lizards which I thought was hilarious...especially since it seemed every tree I had him up against had a lizard right next to his head! So funny! Congrats to Emily & Tony whose wedding I will be photographing in June! :) Enjoy your engagement pics!

"Daddy's Little Girl..."

I must say that this Daddy-to-be was thee most excited I have ever photographed. He was so pumped and eager to do anything for his 2 girls in order to make sure the photoshoot went well (even with a hangover) :) The love that he had for his unborn little baby girl just oozed out of him and I have to say it was quite refreshing to see! I can't wait to photograph baby Skylar! Congrats!

"The Racoon Ate It!!"

If you know me on a personal level, then you know what the title of this post means! LOL Back when my oldest daughter Madi was 3, she cut her own hair! I could've killed her! Anyway, she made up this huge story...LIE...about how she did not cut it and how a racoon broke into the house and ate the hair off! haha Well, she was begging me for a hair cut for months and I decided I had better take her to my hair lady before that racoon made a reappearance! She is adorable and we had to do a photoshoot to capture her new...very mature...look. Need a Great Hair Dresser?? Contact Shawney at POSH Salon in Palmetto! She is awesome.
PS....And Thank You Madi for ALWAYS making your Mommy laugh. I love you! xoxo

"Through the Years..."

Wow! I can hardly beleive Little Miss Hallie Brooke is ONE! I photographed Zach & Jillien's wedding WAYYYY back in 2007! It was only the 2nd wedding I had ever done and Jillien hired me based on the job I did with their engagement photos...and NO previous wedding work. Big gamble! :) But apparently I did her well because I have been doing their family photos for the past 4 years now! It has been a pleasure building a friendship and business relatonship with this family. Jillien has an AWESOME handmade item boutique that I have posted about a few times. Check her stuff out on Facebook by searching "Jack & Jill Craft Mill." Her items are also featured on her little beauty in the photos below :)
